Lead Consultant
Lorna has over 30 years of experience in journalism and media management. Lorna served as CEO of Crossroads Global Media Group and as CEO of YES TV network, a commercial television station committed to positive, family-friendly entertainment programming. Lorna has spoken with inspirational impact at conferences, civic events, churches and training venues in Canada, the United States, and Australia.
For eleven years prior to her leadership at Crossroads and YES TV, Lorna was CEO at Media Voice Generation, (MVG) a community held Canadian charity that created the award winning TV program Context with Lorna Dueck, which featured news analysis from a Christian perspective and was broadcast on eight TV networks.
Canada’s leading national newspaper, The Globe and Mail, published Lorna’s commentary writing each month as their faith and public affairs voice from 2000 to 2016, and Lorna has published hundreds of articles in various media outlets. Lorna has travelled the world doing documentary reporting on faith-based responses to humanitarian crises. Alongside documentary work, these international stories were also produced to create social action and fundraising media campaigns, with Lorna being a passionate speaker on advocacy issues. She currently serves on the board of Hope and Healing International and The News Forum.ca. Her most recent authored book is For Your Health; A look into God’s methods for healing.
Lorna began her media career in radio as a reporter with Golden West Broadcasting in Manitoba. Lorna completed a Bachelor of Religious Education at Tyndale University College in Toronto and earned a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Leadership from Wheaton College.
Lorna has received honourary doctorate degrees from Trinity, Tyndale and Briercrest Universities.
In 2012 Lorna was been honoured with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to Canadian society.
Lorna now consults in book writing and communications.
Ashley Crowley
Consultant
Ashley comes to Lorna Dueck Creative with over 10 years of work experience in the for-and non-profit worlds. Ashley specializes in content creation, writing, editing, strategic planning and project management, fundraising, and administration. Ashley is also a certified Grip-Birkman coach and is interested in helping people discover their unique skills and gifts so they can be equipped to make their biggest impact.
Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from McMaster University and a Master of Theological Studies in Urban and International Development from Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto. Ashley loves traveling, board games, and spending time at the family cottage with her husband, Brendan and daughter, Charlotte.
Laura Wallar
Consultant
Laura Wallar has over 10 years of experience in public relations, marketing, and organizational communication. Her diverse background includes publicity and marketing for internationally renowned Christian authors, product launch and publicity for retail brands, and communication strategy and organizational leadership at LIFT Church, where she and her husband serve as lead pastors.
Laura graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and holds a Masters degree in Modern Literature from Ryerson University. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario with her husband and their two children. In her free time, Laura enjoys baking, road cycling, and adventures with her family.
Ava Griemert
Consultant
Ava Griemert is a communications and project management specialist who has worked in the municipal government, manufacturing, healthcare, consulting, and education industries. She specializes in project management, writing, content creation, and organization. She uses her work experience to build projects that bring value to our world and helps organizations succeed at their goals.
By focusing on communicating effectively and with purpose, Ava has been able to put the Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Multi-Media she earned at McMaster University to good use. Ava loves spending time with family and friends as well as serving her community in Hamilton, Ontario.
Moussa Fadoul
Photojournalist
Moussa Faddoul is a photography instructor and an experienced photojournalist. He taught photography & film at Loyola High School in Montreal, is currently teaching Digital Photography at Dundas Valley School of Art, and giving workshops and lectures around the GTA.
His photojournalism work has taken him across the globe. From Canada’s frigid Arctic documenting Aboriginal issues to the Horn of Africa capturing women’s struggles. From the conflict-ridden Middle East, through religious events in Rome, to NGO’s work in Mexico. His work has been featured in national publications including The Globe and Mail, America Magazine, WedLuxe, The Bridal Guide, CBC, CTV, and Global TV. In 2016 his photo essay La Madre “Mother” won the Canadian Church Press Award of the year.
Dale Clyne
Audio Engineer
Dale has always had an interest in the audio world. From helping with productions in high school he knew that it would become a lifelong pursuit. He has worked in various aspects of audio recording including music, post-production for film and television, live television in studio and on location, and live events for churches and in theatres across Canada. Television shows Dale has worked for include 100 Huntley Street, Super Mighty Makers, Just like Mom and Dad, Tiny Talent Time, and many others. Over the past few years, he has brought this experience to recording audiobooks and podcasts.
Casey Palmer
Social Media Consultant
Casey is a Canadian Dad from Toronto, Ontario who shares his fatherhood journey at Casey Palmer, Canadian Dad, one of the few places to find fatherhood content in the Great White North. He shares his story because it’s different. He’s a Black father. He comes from a multiracial family. His family’s an urban family, looking to thrive in the city rather than run out to the suburbs like so many families have before them. This has his content come from a very unique place in Canada’s digital landscape, with Casey continually evolving it to tell the best story possible.
